Elon Musk Denies Report Tesla Is Scrapping Less-Expensive Electric Car

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has denied a report that the electric car maker had called off plans for a less-expensive vehicle. First teased by Musk in September 2020 during a battery-related event staged by the company, Tesla's failure to deliver the car on time is proving costly.
