EU Industry Chief Demands Meta Immediately Tackle Online Content Targeting Children

Theirry Breton, European Commissioner for Internal Markets, will demand that Meta act against content targeting children, when he meets Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on June 23. The Facebook parent will also have to demonstrate its measures to comply with the Digital Services Act after August 25 — or face heavy penalties.
