Coinbase Sued for Alleged Unauthorised Collection of Users’ Biometrics Data: Details

Coinbase is being sued by plaintiff Michael Massel for allegedly trespassing the Illinois’ Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) and unlawfully collecting users’ biometrics data. The suit alleges that the exchange uses this biometrics data to enhance its ‘app-based’ online platform’s usage and working.
