ChatGPT Maker OpenAI in Discussions to Sell Shares in Tender Offer Valuing Firm at $29 Billion: Report

OpenAI, the research firm that created ChatGPT, is in discussions for a tender offer with venture capital firms Thrive Capital and Founders Fund, according to a report. The company is reportedly in talks with the firms to sell shares from existing shareholders such as employees, in a tender offer that would value the firm at $29 billion (roughly Rs. 2,39,700 crore).
