WhatsApp Requested to Delay Launch of Communities Feature in Brazil Till January

WhatsApp has been requested by Brazilian prosecutors to delay the launch of its feature called Communities until January in the country. The request was made to avoid fake news amid elections in October. A WhatsApp spokesperson said the company will continue to carefully evaluate the best time to launch the new platform.
