WhatsApp to Expand Indian Payments Service to 100 Million Users, Wins Approval From NPCI

WhatsApp has won approval from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to expand its payments service to 100 million users. Although a relaxation, the new cap will still limit WhatsApp’s growth in India, where it has more than 500 million users.
