PLI scheme will boost local manufacturing of electronics, computer and components: Industry

The cabinet approved outlay over a five-year period is Rs 6238 crore for white goods and Rs 5,000 crore for IT products which will be passed as financial incentives to companies who invest on local production and apply for the PLI scheme. The finer details are yet to be announced.
